ROGER TAYLOR

The story begins
Roger  Meddowes-Taylor born 26/7 1949 in Kings Lynn /Norfolk). When he was eight his family moved to Truro in Cornwall. There he was educated at Truro School. During this time he played in various local bands, first as a guitarist than as a drummer (with vocals). Roger came to London as a dentistry student (London Hospital Medical School), but left before completing his course in favor of taking a biology degree.

Smile did only one released single Earth/Step on me. 1969 Freddie Mercury (also Staffel`s  flat mate) joined Roger in running a secondhand clothes stall in Kensington Market.
